This week on The Shock Absorber we have Part 2 of Stu’s live Berea tutorial on ministry frameworks and how to think about the theology, strategy and practice of ministry.

In Part 2, Stu, Joel McMaster and I chat about the Wesleyan Quadrilateral (Scripture, Tradition, Reason, and Experience) as a diagnostic tool to assess how churches develop their ministry frameworks, asking “What does it truly mean to build a ministry that is based on the Bible?”
We then revisit the different strategies of churches by looking at how different churches raise up young people using Mark Senter III’s Four Views of Youth Ministry. And then we briefly discuss how churches move from theology to practice.
