Chicken “sandwich” and tater tots from Ludacris’ Chicken and Beer at ATL

My apologies for being a bit quiet the last couple of weeks on posting new or archived content. Truth is, I was having too much fun at Intergenerate 2025, attending paper presentations, catching up with international friends, all whilst battling the inevitable jet lag that comes from the 20+ hour flight across the Pacific.

In the coming weeks, I will write more about the conference, my own paper presentation on collective memory, and some of the other adventures that I had along the way.

In the meantime, you can hear a wrap-up of my trip with Joel McMaster and Brayden Wall on a special Shock Absorber/Chip Lunch crossover episode.

We chat about

  • Why seasoned tater tots are the superior potato side to a burger

  • Which Hot Wheel cars define our personalities

  • The way collective memory shapes our present and future

  • How The Chip Lunch podcast provides generative moments for our church

  • Why Noah’s Ark ended up in the middle of Kentucky
