I have been listening to this show for over two years and have appreciated Hunter, Ryan and Samās perspective on childrenās ministry strategy and practice. Episode 29 on āThe BEST Way to Teach Kids Isā¦ā and the discussion around comprehension vs. attention vs. retention resonated around my head for months.
When I came on full-time as Kids Pastor of Soul Revival Church, one of the things I knew I needed to address was the childrenās ministry curriculum. Having listened to the show, I contacted Ryan Coatney, talked through the Cross Formed Kids church curriculum, and was sold.
Weāve been using this for 12 months now and I have loved watching the kids and leaders get more familiar with the Bible narratives and theological foundations because of the catechetical model that CFK is based on.
